SOLD! This Philco is reportedly called the "Wedge." It sports a very modern design also seen in early Bakelite TV sets. Mid Century Modern meets George Jetson! Even more remarkable, this is the original Philco factory ivory paint job that was applied to the Bakelite crack-free cabinet back in 1952! There are a few very minor pin head size paint chips but they don't detract. It retains its original beautiful shine. Even the gold anodized trim on the knobs is still bright and shiny. A true survivor! It has a strong tested set of tubes, new line cord, been recapped, mica replaced in IF Transformer, controls cleaned/lubricated, so it plays strong across the dial with its built-in large stick antenna or use the attached included free of charge 3.5mm aux cord to play your own audio content through the radio.
