The Silvertone 6320 is easily one of the more unique small table radios in my experience. The chassis is mounted upside down, and the mechanical piano key presets are reminiscent of an old time car radio. The shiny brass escutcheon is bright and eye catching. The otherwise decent chassis was very difficult to restore, due to the enclosed circuitry, but the result was a fairly good player. The sound from the perfect 5-inch speaker is fairly good. Picks up local stations on the internal antenna, with a wire for more distant stations. The cabinet was refinished by a previous restorer. He didn't do very well on the right side, but the value of the radio doesn't warrant stripping and refinishing, so I am pricing it accordingly. Not quite as bad in person as the camera made it look. He made a not very good back cover, but, again, the radio value precludes getting a new one. All in all a unique and interesting little radio, and not one you see every day. 10-3/4"Wx 7-3/4"H x 5-3/4"D. Mike Boessen. E-mail: mboessen@ktis.net $229.00. (0000159)
