The movement toward more Bakelite and plastic radios continued after the war. The 1101-H by Stromberg-Carlson is a good example. The Bakelite cabinet was repainted by a previous owner in its original Ivory color. There are no cracks or damage to the Bakelite. The chassis has been serviced and the radio plays well receiving AM stations across the band.
