Silvertone 1919 Skyscraper Radio (1933).   This is the battery version that has the GTC model E Perma-Power Battery Eliminator made by General Transformer Corp. of Chicago. It has been recapped & the radio plays very well across the dial using short wire antenna. The vintage Sears Silvertone "World's Fair" radio (such as Models 1808 and 1809) is a highly collectible 1933-1935 Art Deco vacuum tube radio. It features a distinct stepped "skyscraper" or tombstone wooden cabinet built to celebrate Chicago's "A Century of Progress" Exposition. This is the 1st one I have ever seen that still has the quarter sized medallion stating same. This is a beautiful "stepped" tombstone. Original dial and knobs, speaker as well as finish which shows very well with minimal wear as you would expect for 90 year old radio. Has two bands that play great, tho not much on SW now days. Westinghouse Advertising Clock.   Mid Century (1950's) Westinghouse Radio Advertising Lighted Red & White with glass front cover & chrome rim trim.
