Firestone 4A-12 "Narrator" (1948) Firestone 4A-12 "Narrator" (1948).   Rare large Bakelite cabinet table model with both AM & FM! Most radios with FM in 1948 were large consoles. Coupled with a small tube count for an AM/FM radio at the time, this makes this a unique set both in design and circuitry. As a result, typical of early FM, it is not super sensitive on that band. It will receive strong local FM stations (there is an attached long wire to the FM ANT terminal that can be extended for better FM reception). AM receives strong across the dial. The radio has been recapped, controls cleaned and lubricated for smooth operation. New line cord and aux 3.5mm cord attached for playing your own content through the radio. Has a two-position tone control. The natural finish cabinet has a nice marble swirl pattern throughout. There is one small stress crack that isn't all the way through to the outside (visible in the left side photo towards the back). It doesn't detract at all from the esthetic appeal of this very large, molded cabinet. Rare model that doesn't turn up often (I've never seen one before). The chassis was made by Detrola for Firestone. One of just a few built by Detrola with FM and made just before Detrola closed their operation. 14"W x 9-1/4"H x 9-1/4"D.  Greg Van Beek.   E-mail: nostalgiaradiotime@yahoo.com  $199.00.  (0000223)
Firestone S-7403-9 Air Chief "The Melody Maker" (1940) Firestone S-7403-9 Air Chief "The Melody Maker" (1940).   AM/SW. Completely original. Cabinet never refinished. I have owned this radio for over 50 years. Before I purchased it all of those years ago I remember a few caps had been replaced and it worked. Today I would be hesitant to power it up again without going through the chassis first. This set has the conical knobs which may identify it as a 1940 which is why I listed it as such. A 1941 sold on the Radio Attic but did not have these control knobs. I remember it was a very strong player. I can send additional photos.  Mark Smith.   E-mail: mark@forwardslip.com  $400.00.  (0000222)

Majestic 5A410A Coca Cola Cooler (1949) Majestic 5A410A Coca Cola Cooler (1949).   The 1949 Coca-Cola Cooler Radio was produced by Point-of-Purchase Displays Inc. in Chicago as an exclusive promotional in-store display for prime Coca-Cola retailers. Meaning these original tube radios (countless solid-state reproductions were made in the 1990's, with the tell-tale cassette tape player built in) are very scarce because they were not sold in retail outlets to the general public. They don't turn up very often. This example still has its original paint with only minor loss in small areas. Common to these, one of the side grill bars was broken out. A new one was carefully made and paint mixed to match the original color. It is barely noticeable. The five-tube chassis was completely recapped, controls cleaned and lubricated for smooth operation. An aux 3.5mm cord was attached at no extra cost for playing your own content through the radio. It receives all of my local stations with its built-in loop antenna. If you've always wanted an original tube powered Coke radio, here's a rare opportunity to acquire one. 12-1/2" W x 10" T x 8-1/2" D  Greg Van Beek.   E-mail: nostalgiaradiotime@yahoo.com  $599.00.  (0000189)

Philco 37-610 Tombstone (1937) Philco 37-610 Tombstone (1937).   1937 was the first year Philco began adding the year of manufacture to its model numbers. Thus the 1936 model 610 became the 37-610 in 1937. Five tubes, three bands with a unique glowing dial where the pointer moves up and down to illuminate just the band scale you're using. The shouldered tombstone cabinet sports an all-original finish with a nearly perfect faux finish front panel (this "Philcote" finish is usually hopelessly chipped or damaged). It's unusual to find a time capsule nearly 90-year-old Philco with such a good original finish. All original paper labels present in the cabinet and on the chassis. An exact reproduction grille cloth was used. The grommets were changed on the RF sub chassis, new chassis support grommets, filter and paper capacitors replaced. Tubes all tested good. Plays loud and strong, receiving all of my local stations. Rectifier tube mounted high on top of the power transformer, a cool feature on some 1937-38 Philco models. Requires a long wire external antenna to receive stations or use the 3.5mm aux cord, included at no extra cost, to play your own content. 13-1/4" W x 18" T x 9-1/2" D.  Greg Van Beek.   E-mail: nostalgiaradiotime@yahoo.com  $229.00.  (0000190)

Zenith 10-S-567 (1941) Zenith 10-S-567 (1941).   Beautiful vintage Zenith console radio dating to 1941. This is the highly collectible Zenith 10-S-567 model. The radio powers on and produces sound, but the tuning dial pointer does not currently move when the tuning knob is turned. I have not attempted to repair or restore the tuning mechanism. The radio appears to retain its original Zenith chassis, tubes, speaker and cabinet components. The cabinet has beautiful original vintage styling and shows age-related wear, scratches, finish loss and other imperfections consistent with its age. I have more photos upon request.
