Five-tube Mid-Century Modern design featuring a Lucite dial scale ring that, when it is illuminated, looks stunning in a dark room with an almost 3D effect. The otherwise crack free cabinet had a piece broken out on the bottom side radius towards the rear that was a challenging repair, necessitating the cabinet to be painted. It was given a bright maroon enamel that accents the anodized gold trim nicely. It has been recapped, tubes tested strong, controls cleaned & lubricated, so it plays loud and clear across the dial with its built-in loop antenna, receiving all my local stations.
