These were used on the 1946-48 Philco console radios like the 46-1209 and 47-1230 that used the high fidelity phonograph with the "Dynamic Reproducer." It was a special square ended stylus that only fits that cartridge. If a round shaft "needle" is inserted, it ruins the cartridge. These are very hard to find new in the blister pack!
